There are times when things are not as they seem!
Nothing is ever cut and dried, or plain Black and White!
Today has been such a day in my life, when everyone , and I do mean everyone, wanted to believe what they saw!
What did they see, I can hear you ask?
Well, they saw this, and gasped!!
What is it! Well it is a soon to be outlawed gas guzzling V8 4.2 litre Jaguar xk8 ..
a true thorough bred British sports car, and I do mean Sports Car!
Look how well it sits on my drive ............. it was made for block paving, sort of finishes it off!
Just look at that sculptured rear haunch, does my bum look big is more than an expression!
God, It's bum does look big! It is to die for, imagine caressing it lovingly with a wash leather in each hand!
You've seen two self portraits now, and you can't see my bum in either of them, thank goodness!
Just had to show you this, the venue for the No Name Dinner's
Kirkby Lonsdale, parked in the only spot I could find that was close to a 'gents'
Some of you will know the Orange Tree .... a favorite watering hole of mine too!
Lower down the hill, just by the entrance to the church! What do you mean 'NO PARKING'?
Aah, now you can see the grave stones, nothing grave about this snorting beast!!

Back to the woods and the gents!!!
Now, here is a scene to bring a smile to your face and tears to your eyes, memories of boozy nights and hill climbs!
There is a new landlady at the Barbon Inn by the name of Sandra! Next time you are there tell her you are a friend of mine .... if you dare!
A little to the left!
In the bar, and Sandra plays shy! Don't be fooled, she stripped me of £17 for sausage and chips, and a little wine, mind you it was tasty, but not that tasty!!
That's better, Sandra is more composed now, and that's Alan on the stool, who tells me he is retired now and has become the village stud which I had to confess didn't ring true!
Another self portrait, this time not quick enough to pose!
Quicker this time, eh!

Oh, the CAT is out of the bag now! A clever play on words there don't you think?
Cat ..... Jaguar, get it?

What a pleasure it has been having my car serviced today, though I must say it always is when I see those friendly chaps who care for me so well, even though they did say I needed two new rear tyres ....... I must learn to drive with a velvet touch in future and stop leaving the traffic lights so quickly and looking back to see if the 'opposition' has even moved off!
Day dreaming? An unforgettable day, I only wish I could forget, but I can't!!
