The ticket collector with the shaven head said those travelling to Arnside
could travel free of charge . a truly wonderful gesture!

Steady here only a narrow path through the treacherous quick sands

Time taken roughly 3 hours including numerous stops.
What a great day out and thanks to the waiting room shelter at
Arnside railway station we didn't get wet
... well , 2 of us didn't!
