Home to Hull & the P.and O. Ferry

Ready for the off and a quiet trip across the North Sea!

Superior outside cabin to Zeebrugger!

Day 2 - Tuesday 11th June
En route to La Ville aux Clerc

Lyons la Foret - People must live here but where are they?

Manoir de la Foret, an old favourite and ready for a hair cut!

Maryse in typical guest welcoming mode!

Day 3 & 4- Wednesday & Thursday
Chartre sur Loir and Tours

Another bit of Le Mans history - popular with Aston Martin over the years.

This car park is beneath the fountain in the picture above!
There are 3 levels each capable of holding 200 + cars.
Very clean and very safe!!!

Day 5 - Friday
From Tours to Le Mans Circuit Pit Walk & Driver Parade

This car was the winner of this years Legends Race

The winners trophy sets off on the parade of the town in the back of an Audi

Fittipaldi & his Aston Martin co-driver chums gives me the thumbs up

These guys contract said they would parade topless unless the temperature fell below 12 degrees C.

Day 6 and 7 - 16th and 17th June Le Mans 24 Hour Grand Prix - Plus

Eased bends and vast hard-runoff areas for 2007 at the Dunlop Ese's;
all too easy from where I'm sitting!!

If you miss the bend drive down the 'blue' or the 'yellow' or any of the 3 'Black' hard bits!
Good old gravel would sort out the men from the boys!

 

Warming up and already 2 of the 3 bollards have gone!
This Peugeot was fastest in qualifying and started on pole!

Bulb gone? No, different light combinations helped the pit crew to recognise each car in the team!

Saturday Morning Legends Race, won by the GT 40

Le Mans 2007 in the wet!

22 hours gone and the weekend spoilt not by the rain but by the safety car!

All over! The JEC Dakota waits with door ajar for straggler passengers!

I hear the weather isn't too good in the UK.

This plane wants to depart for Coventry!

Would you believe it!

Mean while back at the ranch in Tours! Not the Loire, the main street!

Day 8 - Monday 18th June
Tours to Lyons la Foret

Yes, this was the next day!

A better day on the way back!

Day 9 - Tuesday 19th June
Lyons la Foret to Zeebrugger
