Mike and Shona were attending one of their many 3M retired ex-colleagues gatherings held at The Bryn Howel Hotel and Restaurant which is set in the magnificent Vale of Llangollen in North Wales, one of the most beautiful areas in Great Britain where there is so much to do and see at all times of the year.
Llangollen is a truly amazing town, encapsulating the best North Wales has to offer in a small area. With more sun than Cornwall and less rain than the Lake District (not true!) it is no wonder that this gateway to North Wales should be so popular with sightseers and walkers of all ages
This years International Musical Eisteddfod sees the return of world renowned violinist Nigel Kennedy. His return to the festival will see old and new material of Bach and Ellington, brought to Wales for the first time.
