The much heralded trip North by the Mayson's dawned on Friday 21st when upon arrival pre-dinner drinks were partaken beside the fabulous local amenity before travelling East to The Stag's Head, Goosnargh, for dinner with Jonathon, Kate and vanessa!

A trip to Kirkby Lonsdale via the Trough of Bowland to see Jaquie and have lunch at The Pheasant Inn
You would be quite wrong if you thought that this was some Portuguese Fort; cloudless skies and searing temperatures are the norm here in Lancashire!
